Gold Panda was a paid membership package offered in Panfu. Pandas with Gold Panda had more functions than non-gold pandas (called wood pandas internally in the Panfu Team). If one bought a Gold Panda membership, they were able to buy clothes and furniture for their panda, as well as having access to exclusive features and receiving weekly gifts for their Tree-house. Wood pandas could only use the clothing given to them via quests and weekly blog-quizzes, as well as some events.
In addition to the already mentioned features, gold pandas also had unrestricted access to all minigames, level rewards, and up until it was opened for all pandas, the Underwater school.

- A lifetime Gold Panda membership was initially available from May 1, 2013 to May 8, 2013. It was originally meant to only be available for a limited time, but was later brought back on May 31, 2013 and stayed until Panfu's closure in 2016. In reality, it could not be purchased after 2015 as the payment system of Panfu stopped working, but the advertisements for it stayed in the City and on Panfu's website until the game shut down.
- Former users of Oloko got free permanent Gold Panda in Panfu, as a compensation for its shutdown in June 2014. This special gold membership would show the expiry date of January 1, 1970.
